Nice finds! You might be able to send that grille to a plating shop. I'll bet they could clean it up and re-plate it for you with Chrome for a reasonable price.Junkyard scores of the day. Lower denali grille not in greatest of shape. But for 6 bucks itll work till another one comes along.
Absolutely not. Those are the first things to go. I swear the junkyard calls people to let them know. Its only been on the yard for 2 days and it was basically stripped. My taillights i think was because noone could get the tailgate open. But we jumped the hinge witb an 18volt batteryNice finds! You might be able to send that grille to a plating shop. And while we're celebrating you spending money, was the 6.2 from that donor still there?
ya, nobody knows how to open the rear gate, there is a dimple in the plastic (lower bottom center) you just drill a hole right there, stick a flat head screw driver in and you can pop the lock open, that's how the dealer does it when the motor/lock/actuator fails.Absolutely not. I was looking for the little tab cuz i watched a yt vid on it but the other guy came looking for a different peice on the tailgate and knew how to jump it.ya, nobody knows how to open the rear gate, there is a dimple in the plastic (lower bottom center) you just drill a hole right there, stick a flat head screw driver in and you can pop the lock open, that's how the dealer does it when the motor/lock/actuator fails.
if you look at yours you will see where the dimple is. (for future reference) needs to be about a 10" screwdriver roughly
*beware also that some thieves have figured out they can pop the rear glass open in a similar fashion by forcing the glass hatch lock open with a screwdriver inserted into the bottom edge lip where the lock is and prying it open.
