Looking to jump on the HID bandwagon, not sure where to look. I have a set of projector headlamps running h3 bulbs for lows and 9006 hi's, i'd love to have a 9005 low beam like on the original headlight but dont know how to fit a 9005 in the housing I have now.

We used to have a vendor on the old forum who sold HID kits but i can't find him anywhere....I'm looking to go between 6-10k, any comments or suggestions?

When it comes to H3 bulbs, I think you have 2 options:
1 - try to squeeze HID's from DDM Tuning in there. This isn't a knock on DDM at all, I run them in my lows and fogs, this is just a fact about all the rebased HID's. The bulb might be too long for an H3 projector to be of any value.
2 - get an H3 mini HID kit from Retro Solutions. It's pricey, but the bulb is the same size as a halogen H3 and will no doubt work better.

Guys, I think you're missing a point in the OP's post here: he's got H3 headlight bulbs. Honestly, I don't know how one of DDM's H3's will perform, since the bulb is 1"+ long, whereas an H3 is is maybe 1/2"? The light's going to be WAY out of line from the focus point. That's why I mentioned the Retro Solutions mini H3 HID bulbs.

Yeah, i havent had a good look at the housing in a while but it is a projector and clearance is possibly an issue...which sucks because i bought projectors with the future intention of HID bulbs
