Hey all - I am changing the power booster on my 1999 'Hoe.

I have a quick question - what is the "trick" to getting the odd little clip off the brake pedal where the push rod to the power booster attaches?

I got the four nuts off the booster mounting studs (after about an hour), and I can barely see the clip, much less get to it to get it off.

And it looks different than most old cars and trucks I have worked on in the past.

There has to be a trick to getting it off without dismanteling the steering column! Any and all help is appreciated!!

Thanks!

Snap ring, huh? Hmmmm.

Big question is how the H&LL do you get to it?

I can see it barely, and maybe touch it with one finger by going up from below, where I accessed the four mounting nuts - I can't get pliers to it from there...???
