Yup, from Alaska to Washington. Did 2467 miles in 4 days, 13.7 mpg for the trip, trailer tipped a DOT scale at 2,925 lbs and the truck at an even 7,500.

Thats pretty decent though for all the weight he was pulling... But still, thats a TON of money

My 85 4speed K5 Blazer with a 305 got 15MPG pulling my full weight Camaro on a trailer loaded itself with spare parts, tools, etc from Boston to Nevada ... it also got 15MPG unloaded going up and down the mtns here hahahaha

These things if nothing are consistent, unloaded my 'kon gets 16-18 depending on my cruise set speed.

Actually, it wasn't too bad, the average price I paid was C$1.37/liter, which with a nearly 1:1 exchange rate came out to US$5.17, which is less than a dollar more than both Alaska and Washington. Although I did pay $120+ for a couple of tanks

Yep, mine gets 17-18 on cruise control. I bet if you drafted a large truck you could get 20, not pulling a trailer of course.

I would've tried to pack in some gas cans to save money in Canada.
