I must be missing something... I went to install my Polk Audio db 651s 6-1/2" Slim 2-way Speakers in the rear doors of my 99 Yukon and for the life of me... it there is no way the holes in the speaker will come close to the door panel for me to screw them in. Its like the opening in the door panel is too big. I see the stock speakers had a kind of square mounting and these new ones are round. Not sure what to do here but any advice would help at this point before I go fabbing up metal plates to mount the speaker to the door panel.

Thanks in advance
Mike

I bet the rear is 6.75", may need an adapter, you can pick one up at any local car audio shop.

The rear speaker or the mounting area? In terms of adapters, I got what Crutchfield sent me but didnt think I needed them for the rear only the front. I'll try that.
