2019 Suburban Z71 5.3. My research says there is a sticker in glove box that tells me what paint code and rear gear etc. I can not find it. ‍♂️

Any help appreciated.

If I remember right, the paint code is contained in the VIN. Whenever I purchase touchup paint, the dealer only askes me for my VIN to obtain the correct paint.

OK. I was not totally correct in stating that the paint code is contained in the VUN. However, the GM dealer can use your VIN to get access to the paint code.

While your car's VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) won't directly reveal the paint code, it is a crucial tool for finding it. You can use the VIN to identify your car's make, model, and year, which are necessary for locating the paint code on the vehicle itself or through online resources. Contacting your dealership with the VIN is often the easiest way to obtain the paint code.
