New to the forums here I have a 1997 black GMC Yukon GT 2dr. Had it since 2000 and love it! Its getting some collision repair done at the moment but I will get some pics up soon. So far I have found alot of good info here!

Wow. That is some major reconstructive surgery.

Yep, someone slid on the ice and nailed me a couple winters ago. Gonna skin the drivers door, and the rear quarter. Got some rust spots above the windshield so we are gonna paint the whole roof. And the tailgate has some old damage so we snagged a good one off the donor Yukon.

They totalled it! but I bought it back and still had 3900 left over. Saved a bunch goin with donor parts

Along with the paint I decided it was time for a little makeover so I'm putting in all new carpet ( charcoal grey so it doesnt stain as easy), new seat bottoms in front, good used factory cd player since the original was shot, Weathertech floor and cargo liners, Polk 6.5" speakers front and back, blacked out headlights, back up cam, and last but not least, 305/60R18 Nitto Dune Grapplers on 18x9 Moto Metal 909 "skull" wheels. Im really stoked to see how it turns out!

nice. it sucks from the first place about the accident, but atleast you have some money for repairs and mods. is the title salvage or clean?

Thanks, I hope so! I want to keep pretty well stock for towing, otherwise it would be time for a straight axle kit, a 502 big block and 39.5 Boggers!
