What power issues were you having? I had an issue with my HID kit as well... But i didnt run a relay yet... Possibly narrowing down what could be a common issue.

I was having the issue of only one bulb coming on but the relay harness did not help and they reccomended that i use 55w ballast instead without the harness so im waiting for them to get here

You had a bad ballast if only one bulb was working right and had a hardness. A good brand of hids that I have heard great about is spencers, the guy sales an economy version and high end version. The eco is like 70 to 90 (I don't recall the price). The higher end is 150. Ddm is like a ebay kit where you hit and miss, sometimes you get lucky and they great, others times they suck.

Let me know how that works out for you, i was having the same problems and thought it was just a bad kit, swapped kits with a friend and it did the same thing. They were both 35w kits. Whatever was causing my issue, it wasnt killing the kits it just wouldnt work on my tahoe. My friend still has my kit up and running

I ordered a $120 kit and now with the upgrade to 50w ballast i am at like $160 but i talked to the guy today where i got them and he said for tahoes, pick ups,and other trucks he reccomended the 50w kit cause of issues with the 35w ones in larger vehicles, and he told me to take my relay harness back out and that the 50w ballast wont fry my factory wires since the ballast still runs cooler then the halogen bulb,he said he has the 50w kit in his silverado for over a year and no issues so i guess i will hook them up and try it and the kit i have is from euro effects
