Have you heard of Factory Reproduction wheels??

I am hesitant because:

1. I'm just not sure what exactly "factory reproduction" entails. Is it poor quality or just not branded/manufactured by GM?

2. I currently have the stock LS 17's. Are there going to be any modifications i need to make if I go to a 20" wheels? ie, tire pressure sensors, or anything that relates to the odometer (because the diameter of the wheel is now larger).

Sorry if I'm using the wrong words or phrasing, I'm just not very tech savy, but I think you all get what my concerns are. THANK YOU in advance for your help!

1) Factory replica wheels are getting pretty common because buying new OEM wheels has become so expensive. I would not be hesitant to buy the replicas at all.

2) No mods needed, you can reuse your TMPS sensons that are on the 17's. No isses with the odometer upgrading to a 20", and if there were it would to small to ever notice.

If you decide to go with a 20" and still want an offroad look, I would highly recommend taking a look at the Nitto Terra Grappler or the Cooper LTZ

Hey man I got a set of OEM 20s just like that, I am selling. They are good for painting as they have a few blemishes on them. Let me know if you are interested.

Conor - Some really good info here. Thank you. I figured the replicas would be okay, but I thought I would ask. As far as the tire pressure sensors go, is this something extra that has to be done when installing the new tires/wheels? I've never had sensors before or had to change the tires on my truck. I will likely have this done at a shop, is it something they charge extra for? Obviously its necessary, but I was just curious how much it costs.

Punisher - I got your message and PM you back. Definitely interested in wheels.

They just need to pull them off of the wheels you have now and throw them on the new ones. Unless the new wheels come with them. I am sure whoever installs them will charge more the the TMPS, but it should be minimal if anything. Good luck
