I would that dam critter has to go. I had a rat in my garage about 3-4 years ago, chewing on this and that and ruining things smart enough to avoid a snap trap. then I found a spot where it was going in & out, closed it off and left poison food in the garage the kind that makes them not be able to absorb water, then the ****** tried to chew under the garage door after a few days I left the door open and the wife saw it slow crawling off into the bushes, good riddance.Making one of those traps tomorrow.
Put some water in the bottom enough where they are forced to swim
There is about 4" to 5" water and some olive oil to make it slicker. We use the olive oil, in the water, when we cook pasta.Put some water in the bottom enough where they are forced to swim
did you put sticks on both sides? so they can get up to the treatThere is about 4" to 5" water and some olive oil to make it slicker. We use the olive oil, in the water, when we cook pasta.

the wife told me the day before yesterday something was still chewing on her "snacks" in the suburban, so I put a regular mouse trap in overnight and the little sucker ate the peanut butter and didn't trigger the tap so I knew then it had to be a small one so in that case sticky traps always work, about midnight went out and checked. mission accomplished.
