I'm just posting this so in case somebody else googles with the same question. This forum was helpful with some other issues I was having.
You can swap the bw4481 out of an 03 or older yukon denali, escalade SS with the nv149. I couldn't find this info online, just secondhand info saying the systems worked too differently/programming wrong ect. so I risked it myself. I have the factory traction control/abs working flawlessly in the snow, combined with the "limited slip" of the NV its like its on rails, doesnt self correct nearly as often with traction control. Its also nice because ive been stuck with "one wheel drive " off road with the BW due to traction control/abs issues before i fixed them. With the NV at least I have some action out of the front axles when stuck and if the TCS stopped working again. The only difference is when going to the NV is the rear driveshaft is 1" too short, which makes the slip yoke pretty exposed, but works fine. If i spot the right driveshaft at a junkyard ill snag it, but not critical. Its a bolt up swap, no mods necessary.
