Have you ever ridden in the back seat of your own vehicle?

In my 97, I've sat in almost every seat, including 3rd row...it was my dad's rig so I grew up in it. No, it wasn't comfortable back then either.

The 2012, only driver and passenger.
I do want to try the front middle for (5 seconds of) fun one day.
Yea, she's got 9 seats. 4 are useful for adults.

@alpha_omega good thread resurrection!

I sat and rode in the back seat of my 2020 Tahoe RST for the first time this summer. It wasn't bad but after about 20 min, we had to pull over because I was actually getting car sick. I have never had that happen to me as I travel often by plane and own a boat. Truly Weird:eek:
What were you doing when you felt the nausea? Watching the road through the front window, reading, looking at your phone?

Only in my '89 & 90' Burby's in the 2nd row when I was letting my teenage daughter drive. With the boat in tow as well. She did good.
Wowww! Trust level: 100!!I'm not sure I would let any human I know do that with my rig.
'cause it ain't easy to teach ... but how did you learn?
... she was 14. I wanted to let her experience what I would have loved to do at that age with my pop. She will be 30 in May.
Respect.

When I was 10 my dad let me drive his new Ford Fairlane 500 almost every Sunday morning. I think about that often. He was always looking out for cops. Thankfully they did not catch us. That was in the great town of Teaneck New Jersey.

Hijacking your thread. I've sat in the back and its okay -- not sure I'd want to go 100 miles but my 'Burb's 3rd row is the grandkid grabber and they love it especially with the 3rd row screen pulled down. What I'd really like is a 6 seat conversion option with the 3rd row's 2 seats able to recline.

With the rear seats slightly more centered there actually is quite a bit of leg room.
