Halos, LEDs, Projectors... etc

I recently just bought chrome LED projector Halos for my 2000 Yukon and I wanna install a HID kit for my Low beams (6000-8000K lighting) and 3000K for my fogs lights. I wanna know who has a good opinion on good HID kits, because I know all electrical components and electronics are not made equal.

DDM tuning seems to be the kit lately. I know sometimes they are backed up because so many people order them. They are about 40-50 shipped I believe (unless price went up) and have a lifetime warranty. I have 12k in my lows and fogs for about 6 months now with no flickering or igniting issues.

12K in the lows and fogs... it's got the purple look huh. Did you have to put any additional power, capacitors, or batteries?? I'm running a yellow top right now.

You may want to invest in a wiring harness, but it's most likely not necessary. I'm running 35w in my lows with a harness only because I did a custom projector job with high-end OEM HID parts. I don't want something getting fried. If I ever lose a bulb, I'm going to get the cheap 55w kit just for comparison sake. If I don't like it, it's only $40.

However, I am using the stock wiring in my fogs to power 55w HID's and have had no issues at all with my DDM Raptor II kit...it's $30 at ddmtuning. It's all plug and play, no extra anything needed. Just get the right size bulb and expect to spend a little time mounting the ballasts. Other then that, it's a very cheap and simple upgrade that can make a huge difference in your lighting.

They are actually very very light blue. No extra for that, you can run 35 watt HID's no problems. If you wanted to do 55w you would probably want a relay to be safe. Mine was just plug and play also. I do have a ** alt and 2 extra batteries in the back but thats just for the stereo
