Ground sizzle after driving

Every time I park the ground below sizzles from what I guess is piping hot fluid coming off under engine/Cat area. Never had a car do this and my previous gen 6.2 did not.

I have the gm performance exhaust and don’t believe it is coming from the weep hole.

Could be the hvac condensation dripping onto the hot exhaust pipe

If not hvac condensation, then take it into dealer and have them look, it is a 2021 and should still be under warranty

Mine does that too…pretty sure it’s condensation from the HVAC.

I bet if you drove it around with the HVAC off and the windows down for a bit, then parked it the sizzling noise probably wouldn’t be there.

Mine also does it, definitely hvac dripping on exhaust...i notice it most on hot days when cranking the AC

Call me crazy but I just noticed something similar. Got home, was taking stuff out from front passenger side and noticed a “swooshing” sound like water in your mouth. I’m thinking wtf and had seen this thread. First time noticing that and it is hot today but had ac pretty low tho.

A/C low or high, it is gonna drip and get on whatever is below it and not always directly below it. Wind and turns can cause that condensation to drop out at an angle. Poorly designed for sure but no big deal. I don't own one but this concern is in many threads.

Mine sounds like bacon sizzling on a pan. I can see the water dripping onto the heat shield of the cat.

Glad I found this thread, been having my 2024 escalade for a year now, and I never noticed it until about a month ago. Started after I took my car to get serviced than new wheels put on. Under the car it's just water/condensation dripping and sometimes hitting the cat on the driver side or the exhaust pipe that goes horizontal. But why didn't I notice this for the previous 10 months?
