if changing the sensor did not fix the problem then it could be or most likely is the hub.Duly noted…On my 2020 Yukon SLT- here’s the issue::::The Stabilitrak and Abs lights came on last week, this was after a couple of really bad snow days. Code reader kicked out 4 codes that indicated the right front wheel speed sensor had a problem.
U0422-71, C0040-05, 08, 3A. I changed the sensor, cleaned out the area and installed GM sensor. Drove the car around the block but the same lights were still active, even after I cleared the codes.I plan on taking it apart and cleaning the area with brake cleaner thoroughly. Am I headed in the right direction?? Any help is welcome, smart comments are welcome also.
so when braking at low speed the abs kick on?I was thinking it may be a bad hub or the module. (Hope it’s not the module)I shook it yesterday, didn’t feel any play at all. I did try to spray the sensor bore hole to clean the inside while spinning the hub. But Yeah, the truck slows down at low speed, especially while parking, very annoying!
so when braking at low speed the abs kick on?
if so and changing the sensor did not help, then you can put money on it being the hub
bit early for a hub, but that's the primary suspect. The historical average is about 160kMileage is 108K….
that tells me the module is working, besides that's a very unlikely suspect. if it was the module you would probably have brake errors also, like service brakes, etc.Yes….low speed, parking etc….
Got it…thanks for the help folks!!that tells me the module is working, besides that's a very unlikely suspect. if it was the module you would probably have brake errors also, like service brakes, etc.
