Those HD hoods make a huge difference on the Tahoes for sure...Well Done :D

i got it aftermarket. had a buddy who does body work paint it. cost me 550 for the hood and painted and installed hoe.

Does it feel close to or as sturdy as the OEM hood you had?
Also, was it a direct fit or was it a little work to get it to go on?

Looks real good.

it bolted right up. just had to adjust my hood latch alittle and my hood bumper things.
it feels alittle weaker then the oem but i mean if you get in a wreck then your gonna have to replace a hood anyway more then likely, hail tho im not sure how well it will hold up to compared to oem. i well find out soon enough living in oklahoma.
the gaps are about everage. nothing to bad to worry about to me. even on both sides.

Hood looks good man! What was the name of the aftermarket company you used for the hood. Was wanting to do something like that on my 2005 Yukon

The hood looks great. I love that site, I have spent quite a bit of money there and the best part is they usually have whatever I need in stock.
