funny that you mentioned law enforcement. you know ive worked 2 years in iraq for the DOD . i was a private security contractor . served among all branches of service in the US military . from 2004- 2006 . i i like all things tactical . merry xmas .

just made an order this morning from amazon for the following parts to be replaced .

- ignition distributor cap acdelco
-ignition distributor rotor acdelco
- spark plugs wire acdelco
- ignition coil ACCEL .
-fuel filter .
- ngk iridium spark plugs matching the oem factory gap 0.060
- 4 side markers amber color
- radiator water cap
-fuel cap

sold it 5 years ago . and i bought it back last month . now working on renewing lots of stuff and getting a paint job and some upholstery work . 1996 lt tahoe.

stuff ive done so far :

- new pioneer android auto flip screen .
- sound deadening matts in both front doors.
-new speakers and tweeters .
-sub woofer 1800 watts .
-transmission rebuilt kit .
-changed the entire brake system to a 2007 tahoe with the brake booster and hoses .
- new after market grill and headlights .
- new windows and mirror switches .

work to be done : parts already at home

- installing new weather seal strips for front doors and tail gate .
- mechman 240a alternator .
-big 3 upgrade .
- new steering gear box from blue top .
- new front seats leather .
- paint job
-sound deadening for the entire cargo and back seat area.

ive done the wells inside the doors , only half way though . but if you mean on the plastic side of the panels then no i didnt . just the metal in the doors . and i could see lots of improvement for the midrange speakers in the door and no rattling sound .

Hey Dean thank you . sadly i dont have a garage at home . i do all the work at mechanic shops or friends garages . you know how hot it gets over here . i was stationed at Al Asad airbase from 04 to 06 . its hot there as well

I was at Al Asad airbase in 04 as transit personnel. Our C-130 broke down and we got stuck there for about a week or so. Small world. Good luck with your rig.
