Principles of economics in effect. Supply is short and demand being high driving up the pricing AND….people got MO money than brains.
The demand for brains almost always exceeds the supply of them...

I would only do that if you expected prices to come back down at some point, so you can get something else you enjoy. As an example, I am fairly certain I could sell my 2004 Silverado 2500LD for about $10k more than I paid for it, but I don't expect to find anything else like it, any time soon, for less than that. :-(

Very nice Yukon, but I would go for something newer. It's almost 20 years old. I personally think age is more of a factor than high milage. Anyone buying new is probably considering a private sale of their trade in. When dealers aren't adding $5,000.00 to sticker prices, they're driving hard bargains on trades.
Burbs/Yukons in CA are 17k with 65k miles...
I just bought a 180k mile 1 owner (mostly wife driven) kid hauler, 2005 Yukon XL... for $8500, and I'm loving the truck.... best thing was getting the sticker and all the service records from the beginning...

Did you get a 1500 or a 2500? There is a pricing difference.
