We see where GM has a recall for Crankshafts on the newer 6.2 L87s and is recommending 0W-40 oil instead of 0W-20 oil. I've often questioned where the 0W-20 is too thin for the hot NC Coastal climate in the summer and was thinking about switching it to 0W-40 for our 2019 GMC Yukon XL Denali 6.2. (For AFM/DFM reasons also). I wonder what the mainstream consensus is out there. Any thoughts?
