General Discussion on Cowl Hoods

Man there are some major crickets over in the Exterior subsection. Hopefully I can get some conversation over here in general discussion.

So I am looking for some advice around the best brand for a steel cowl hood either 3” or 4” going on a 95 2 door Tahoe.

Back in the day, Goodmark was the one to get, but their website lists Key Parts as the brand who makes the hood.

I saw another poster on here from last month saying they think pro effx but no one chimed in.

@Big Mama Hey thank you for the reply. No I sure didn’t. I kind of forgot about the thread though because my deal on the Tahoe I was scooping up fell through, the guy sold it to his Cousin who needed a car. Darn it! But hey I praise him for family loyalty.

Anyways, I am back searching, and really wanted a 93 or 94 Blazer, but I suspect the late model Blazer’s & 2 door tahoes share the same hood size? So yeah, if I find one without a cowl hood, what is the brand to get?
