Hey guys, I installed a gates water pump in my Yukon today. Installation went smooth and no leaks so I'm satisfied so far. However my dad was asking about it so I was explaining it to him and I showed him the weep hole on the old pump (OEM) and when I went to show him the new one, I was a bit puzzled that I could not find the weep hole on the new one! I didn't think much of it, plus it was cold as shit so I went forth with the installation. Now it's driving me crazy that I couldn't find it. I'm sure it's on there, I mean that'd be a pretty big oversight on their part. I know it's a long shot, but does anyone have one of these laying around, or even just know off the top of their head where the weep hole is on these gates? It's definitely not in the same location as the OEM one. It's P/N 45005. Much appreciated!

Mine is in the cave that the shaft sits in, on the side wall. Need an inspection cam to see it. My inspection camera is 4 mm thick.

I have looked at what I assume is my OEM pump before and maybe even has been changed before I bought the rig, and when I use mirrors and lights and crawl under there as well, I can't see it. As long as I have no leaks, I am ok with that but it does make me curious. Call Gates customer service and ask them.
