other input devices. I'm thinking its the ANT?
I just put a Clarion CX501 into my 2002 Tahoe. This unit has the Bluetooth and I also installed the HD tuner.
The factory radio had it's own issues such as the CD player not working, broken knobs...etc. It also had this staticy sound when on FM radio.
So I'm getting the same staticy sound (it's light and almost like what a radio station would sound like when the signal is crappy.)
Since the music through bluetooth and CDs sound realy good (no staic) I ruled out the speakers being the problem.
So if this is the ANT? what exactly goes bad? the wiring? Do I replace the entire thing? Or is it more likely just the wireing is bad?
