I got some clear-coat over spray on the side molding....and the molding looks BRAND new! LOL It won't come off and I'm debating clear coating the whole thing because the part with the over spray is that shiny black we strive for. (Also I plan on debadging in a year so if I fugged it up I won't have top live with it long) Anyone ever do this?

If you do that I have a feeling that when you go to debadge it may look funky unless you do a very good job of masking and make sure no extra clear gets on the paint. :shrug: but then again you may already have an issue since it sounds like you painted with the moldng on before....
