Hi everybody!
So this year I purchased a 2010 chevy tahoe and its been a Rollercoaster with it since...
The last remaining major issue that we cannot seem to figure out.
We switched out the fuel pump but I had happened to get the wrong guy the day I ordered my fuel pump and he ordered the AC delco pump without the fuel level sensor... unlike we discussed.
Im just a parts manager, my husband is the mechanic. I wasnt there when he swapped the pumps and when he saw that the level sensor wasnt with the pump, he put the old one on it.... had it seen that it wouldve been a full stop.
It keeps reading at 0 and is triggering a code, id have to ask my husband what it was, but it basically states its unable to read fuel level
I got a new sensor thinking maybe theyre incompatible. Still wont work.
Has anyone else had this issue that could maybe give me some insight? I love my tahoe... but im ready to scrap her for all this trouble. My poor husband has dropped the tank three times already. Hes stumped. We both work with GM mechanics, theyre stumped.
