Back story - I originally put drop springs all around on my 2015 Yukon (non magride). Rode terribly and ate through some front tires.

So, I finally ordered a set of factory springs/shocks, and Belltech 2" drop spindles. I installed everything this past weekend. I knew it would be sitting high at first but figured it would be settled after the 35 minute driver home. Nope. After reviewing some videos, I realized I did not remove the sway bar end links. Currently my front end is way up in the air. Any ideas on where to start or what I should look into? Is it possible the new shocks just need to sit with weight on them for a while? Old shocks had almost 160k miles on them, so I knew it may sit slightly higher, but I clearly did something wrong.

I changed out all of my shocks/struts at about the same mileage, and after the change, my front end settled into being 1/2" higher than before. Fortunately, I have the Denali model, so the truck automatically leveled itself.

Little update. I was backing in at work this morning, and could watch the front of the truck going down. Put it in drive and let it idle forward, and the front end came back up 1.5-2”.

After driving, the front wheel camber is all out of wack, with the top of the tire farther out than the bottom. After reversing, they’re nearly straight.

Something’s not right man…

Either something isn’t tightened back up correctly.
You need an alignment…

But you should not be experiencing a 1.5-2” height difference from simply reversing and going into drive.

Did you do the install yourself?
If so, maybe take it to a shop to have them give it a once over?

Update... I did some research and testing, and figured out that this is partially and alignment issue. With the front toed in, the tires push against each other and push up on the suspension. When reversing, they pull away from each other, bringing it back down.

I pulled out some string and tape measure and made some toe adjustments today. It aint perfect, but the truck no longer raises and lowers. The camber is still WAY out. It had some neg camber with drop springs. It has some positive camber with this setup.
