Is it possible to turn a 4WD Tahoe into a 2WD Tahoe? I have had lots of issues with the driver side seal leaking. This is the third time its been replaced. He did replace the retainer clip this time too saying the axle was moving in and out too much and hopefully that is what kept causing the leak. However if its not that he said it was going to cost 700-800 to crack open the differential to see what dmg may be inside. If there is a way to remove it at that point id be all for it cause I do not use 4WD and it would probably be cheaper.
