Not sure if that's the average, but that's what I paid. I know I lucked out with it. If you're patient I'm sure you'll get lucky too. There's a guy who advertises on cl all the time, he's in Philly too. Bought my center console from him. He parts out our trucks all the time.

I'm pretty patient and have buddies everywhere so I'm sure I'll come across one soon enough for cheap. I think I remember seeing a few part outs on cl... good to know he is a good guy

He's OK. Some things he's really reasonable, but he's expensive on some, like clusters. His name is Matt.

Cool... I'll get his info from you when I'm ready to snag one. Thanks!

Wait would that fit ? I have one just laying in my garage that came with my tbss intake. Didn't look like it would bolt up. Is it the same as a Silverado ss?

Looks like it might. Has the mounting tangs in the rear , and the single bolt hole on top.

I'm gonna test for it tomorrow and see if it works... I got it cheap enough that I wouldn't mind cutting it a little to make it work worst case. And I'm now working for my buddy who did my rockers so I'm sure we can cook up something

Yea at a quick glance on know the tbss cai is routed differently , might have to shave a little on the front.
I was also wondering if my Denali cover would fit the tbss intake

I'm pretty sure the mounting locations are all the same

Well I tried the engine cover and the wiper cowl is too low for it. Maybe the TBSS intake is shorter? I won't start cutting it til I have the TBSS intake on and check if the cover still won't fit. It will be on my truck one way or another haha

That's what I was wondering. It looked a little taller . But the trailblazer has a smaller engine compartment . So is this the same engine cover a as a Silverado ss?

I tried to look it up and as far as I know it's just the normal one... still trying to find a under hood pic of a real SS

Now you guys got my attention. Think I might grab one of these up myself. Fresh350 looks like you reside out in Lower Bucks.

This guy made a custom bracket to mount a Vortec hood on his TBSS intake manifold, so that's a (functional) option if the front mounting hole doesn't line up.
