For those of you with upcoming TPW dates on your 2021 Yukon Orders, can you share when you ordered and how you configured?

I placed 11/4, accepted 11/17... Still no TPW. Dealer has no information
2021 Yukon Denali
-Adaptive Air Suspension
-Max Trailering Package
-22" Carbon Flash Metallic
-Sunroof

Here you go:

2021 Yukon Denali Duramax Turbo Diesel
Midnight Blue Metallic
Jet Black Interior
Premium Package
Power Sliding Console
Black Roof Rails
22" 6 Spoke Low Gloss Wheels(Cancelled by wise dealership otherwise would not have been built as they have a supplier issue)

-Order placed and accepted on 11/2
-TPW January 25th
-Built January 27th
-Scheduled to arrive at dealership February 15(or sooner)

Hope this helps

Adaptive Air Suspension and Max Trailering Package is the hold up. The chip shortage is hampering those options according to GM Authority last week.

Dealer allocations have a lot to do with who gets movement. I have also read (either here on or on one of the other sites) that if the dealer orders it as an as-sold unit, then it might get higher priority. I am also new to this, so take whatever I say with a grain of salt.

I've also noticed that if you see in transit on a potential incoming vehicle that you may want to buy, 8-10 times it is a presold unit... I don't understand why it shows on dealer incoming inventory if someone already has a deposit/order on it...

Easy, dealers advertise presold inventory to generate inquires and then try to flip you to something else. Probably not as productive these days since inventory is so scarce.

Thanks you guys. My dealer let me know they aren't able to build any Yukons with the Ultimate pkg, max trailering and air suspension right now. Hopefully GM's plan to halt production of other cars and put the chips towards these cars will help

Until the paperwork is filled out completely and signed in the bottom line, and the person physically takes possession of it, the vehicle is not sold officially. People back out of deals like this sometimes so the dealer is going to try and get a plan B in place to help ensure he isn’t stuck with the inventory.

I thought once a deposit is taken, you are fairly committed to that vehicle or forfeit the deposit? But you are right, and I left my name and # with a few dealers who had one coming I'd buy if the other person backs out !

Mine was delivered today, and we picked it up. 11/21 order and 2/1 TPW.

Dealer said it's still 4200 in the system -- so he was surprised when it showed up on the truck today.

Welp, my dealer just called me. We had to remove the air suspension, Black Metallic 22s and max trailering package even though they accepted my order back in Nov. GM told them they may or may not be building them with those things in the future.

Ordered a Yukon SLT as a sold unit with the Luxury plus package on October 30th.(located in southern ontario canada) I was called on Feb 8th and told that they have to remove all of the luxury plus package basically taken to a base model yukon. I follow the threads on this forum, and told them that the problem was prob the max trailering that was causing the order to get kicked back. The dealership questioned where I would even get that info and told me they are just going to resubmit the order and see if it gets picked up. Am I just wasting my time trying to still order it the same? part of feels like just going there and getting my deposit back as it doesn't seem like this yukon is going to be built. I understand I am in Canada but I feel like I have seen multiple people on this forum who ordered well after I did and have received their order. Any info is appreciated.

Chevy is taking the chips from other facilities and shifting them to Tahoe production. Other plants are being slowed to produce the larger profit vehicles

I did hear that too and the Yukon is one of the vehicles to still be produced but then why would they kick back my order, and why would resubmitting it fix the problem?

I ordered on February 13 and was just told today that I am now at event code 3000 and I should have a TPW soon. I ordered both the max trailer package and the upgraded suspension.

Sorry Mike was that Feb 13 or Jan 13? And where are you located? I have no clue why they won’t pick up this order. Starting to think it’s the dealership messing around.
