I sugest leveling first, its a pretty cheep way to get a little more height and gives you the option for bigger tires

I'm running a Rough Country 2" front leveling kit with 285/70/17 Nittos. I also have some 3/4" rear coil spacers just to lift the rear end up a hair, but I haven't installed them yet due to lack of time. Also have an Airaid Jr intake kit which is a great way to go since it retains the stock airbox. Lstly, I just got a tune done by Justin at Black Bear Performance, and holy shit. Best money I've spent on the truck so far.

So, I'd start with intake, leveling kit, tires and tune...although not necessarily in that order depending on your wants and needs.

Thanks I thinks imma go with the tune and intake first... That's what I did with my 04 mercury marauder and it turned it into a whole new car.

Good plan. The same principle applies with these trucks, there is a huge amount of room for improvement in the factory tune...and Justins work is top notch. The increased drivability that I got from my tune is unreal.

As for the intake, they make two versions of the Airaid jr kit; one with an oiled filter and one with a dry synthetic filter. Pay the few extra beans for the dry version...I'm all about not having to mess with filter oil. They typically sell in the $180 to $200 range (for the dry filter, the oiled filter is a little less), but I got mine for 165 shipped. Deals can be had if you look.

Welcome to the forum. You probably already know this but you should install your intake first & then get the tune.
