Hey battle, swap that front end asap and remove that molding from the sides

Roger battle......it feels good to hear that after 5yrs.....lol....im removing the molding, badges, and possibly flares tomorrow. I am also switching back to the oem grill until I purchase the HD hood, grill, cover, and possibly SS bumper cover.

Also, Tahoewhat.....man ive call and went by places for centercaps. I have searched craigslist, ebay, Internet, and found only 1 centercap for my rims. I purchased them from a guy for 300. He had 1 cap good and one broken. My rims are American Racing Elites, but i have found they are discontinued. Soo....lol....ya man i was hoping for a lead through the forum. Thanks again for your advice....much appreciated

So how much would I be looking at for those 3 products. Also are all 3 from an 00-02 Silverado HD..... mannn....Im going to do it with and SS custom bumper cover

Well if your doing the SS cover than you don't need the top pad, nor do you have to cut the brackets off and lower the frame horns. Saves some trouble. Check for username boozer. He did exactly what you want. Then your looking at hood and grille only.

That sucks about the caps, but figured it may have been something like that for you not to have any on. I'll see what I can find for ya.

all i did for the ss cover was put the cover on and on the hd grille i cut a hair over an inch off the bottom of the grille and installed it with the hd hood.

I swapped the grill, painted the bowtie black, and removed the flares and molding.

Paint to match the grille and spot on,

i kind of liked the flares on there. But looks good. Slow and steady


(FYI - just re-read your first post and saw "install coil overs" See my sig and click "custom coil over conversion" lol

Yessir.....that is one of my next projects. Almost like clockwork brother, yesterday morning i heard this rubbing, almost like tire tread. Well hell....i have to replace my cv's now sooo...lol maintenance before beauty.
