Hey Cats and Kittens,
After 8 years of having to use a company car (my situation wasn't as cool as it sounds when you consider I was being charged a "convenience fee" by my company to use it and was not allowed any mods whatsoever), I finally went to a company that lets me drive my own car.

Although I was initially looking for a Tahoe (potato/potahoe I know), my wife found this bad boy that had everything I wanted - leather, 4wd, low miles, and space. I had a 94 Tahoe for many years and had to let her go when I took my old job. Always wanted to replace it and now I finally have.

I've got a 2010 Yukon SLT - all factory for now. First mods will probably be debadging the rear, replacing the worn handles, refurbishing the AC buttons (why do chicks use their fingernails for pushing buttons?), catch can, grille replacement, and a lift/level. I'm also doing research on a tuner chips.

I've cruised a few of the threads already and I know I have a lot to learn. For example - is the mpg negligible for a 1in lift? Many opinions I'm surfing through as we speak. As always, I'll probably choose function over form, but would still appreciate to hear all opinions. As far as the tuner chips - I would appreciate any help. I've followed some of the links on other threads here, but I'm afraid they just bring up more questions.

Anyways lads - looking forward to speaking with y'all and wish the best for you and your 4 wheeled beast.

Welcome, there's a couple of guys here that get paid by the government to blow things up too. Did yours come with a third row? How about 3.42 gears and the trailer brake controller?

Lol, ok--you got me on a technicality Chase.
Sorry pet peave of mine....
I get so annoyed when someone says “do you do buffing?!” Or” you should buff that scratch out”.... When referring to polishing and corrections. Lol. They aren’t the same thing. Just doing my part to educate.....

Actually, one of the services I do in my business is "Headlight Restoration". People have different ways of doing it--wet sanding, dry sanding, compound/polish etc. I start with dry sanding, then go from there.

Welcome

To answer your question about a 1” lift and mpg..... nah... I've had a level on my ‘13 tahoe since 2014, about a year after I bought it new, never saw a change in mpg.

Good luck with it.
