Bought a set of Esky Vent covers earlier this week from Casey and the arrived yesterday. Can't wait to put them on the Yukon this weekend. Just need to paint them up first. They are a dark red. Going to go with a black and clear them bc I'm honestly not sure how paint to match would look

Did you buy the set that started out on here or did you find an additional set on eBay?

did you paint yourself or had professionally done? I'd like to tackle it myself to save $$$ but more importantly wanna feel some accomplishment doing myself

I have paint to match and adhesive promoter already

Great pic for compare. Makes me wonder if not paint matching mine (they were black when I bought them and my tahoe is black) makes a difference.

My tahoe is an 04 and these were just painted less than 6 mo ago and saw no time installed on a vehicle until about 2 wks ago.

Looks great Nate! OP cant wait to see how they look!

Maybe it is just me, but on a bright color I actually prefer them to be black. They blend the windows together better IMO.

Esky Vents Installed

Right place-right time....picked up a set locally and just got them back from the painter. Much cleaner look IMO. Just thought I'd throw them up for comparison ;)

Here are some pictures of them installed. I ended up painting them black. Like the way they turned out

I like it. I can always take them off and paint them again. Also the only issue I'm having with them is that the passenger side doesn't seem to want to side a flush as the drivers side. Checked the old ones and no tabs are broken off

As I stated earlier, I like them better black because they make the windows look like they wrap around. They look great!
