Finally did my reverse camera

Turned out nice, where did you get it? I have a similar setup with the screen it the same spot but my camera mounts to the top of my license plate and I hate it. I might just modify my camera to hide it there .

I drilled holes and screwed it in to be more secure

I've been sitting on my reverse camera setup now for 3 years, I really need to get around to installing it!! Sure wish I had that big cubby hole you have to put the monitor in!! Looks great man!

Is the camera equipped with the back-up diagram which is displayed on the monitor when backing up or is it the functionality of the monitor? I have a rostra backup system which is much more pricier but I wish it had the backup diagram on the screen as yours does.

I'll say. In all, I have $46 into this and the picture quality is great. Plus with the tilting mount on the camera i can move it down to view the hitch better when backing into a trailer

Does the camera come with the long cord? And im assuming it was tied into the ignition...right? Great job. I hope i can match it.

nope, power for both was run to reverse light power. Camera to left reverse light and monitor the right, in order fo r it to come on in reverse and go off when taken out off reverse. The cable for the monitor isnt long enough though. I used some wire form radioshack
