Damn this thread makes me miss summer.

I like Meguiars NXT Tech Wax. Paste.
Im not sure which is better, that or Gold Class paste. I have used both and can't make up my mind.

I might be trying a liquid wax next summer.

hmm maybe im missing something as i just recently detailed my truck with meguiars cleaner wax, can some one educate me on wax ?

Cleaner wax is meant to be used to prep your paint before polish and wax. Also it gets rid of old wax.

I have painted many high dollar cars and have found Liquid Glass to be the best wax I ever used. Most of the waxes this thread lists I have used. Hands down Liquid Glass is the best I have ever used. Same can and formula for the past 20 years.

it's a "pre-wax" to clean up the paint before you wax.

honestly, if you want to get a wax that's easy to apply and lasts a good amount of time, you need adam's buttery wax or migliore (from glimmerglassdetailing.com).

Hell I thought Meguiers cleaner wax was wax lol. I guess I need to get some other stuff to go over the top?

I washed my ride, then dryed it, then buffed with Turtle Wax Rubbing Compound (this shit sucks except for removing swirl marks, that's all (didn't remove any scratches like it said it would lol) then used the cleaner wax. The truck was nice and slick and the water beads up on it so I thought it was good.

Not a lot of Zaino fans here it seems.

In terms of a combination of ease of use & shine - try Zaino Clear Seal (Z-CS). You don't need to use Zaino products, in order to use ZCS. Use it over the Adams/Meguires/Nu Finish/Liquid Glass/NXT/whatever. If you have clean paint already - use the ZCS only.

Wipe it on - walk away. No removal, and it protects for 6-9 months and you can do a Tahoe in about 5-10 minutes. Pretty easy...and great results, IMO.

Clay Magic bar and Meguiars High Tech Yellow wax are all I use. I worked at a Mercedes dealership one summer in make-ready and that's all they ever used was Meguiars products and Clay Magic.
