How can I tell if my 07 Tahoe LTZ is wired for factory power running boards?

The Power Assist Running Boards were a factory option for the LTZ and the RPO code for that, on the glove box lid, is BRS.

For what it’s worth, I’m not so sure power running boards are worth it, particularly if you live in a locale where it snows. I have them on my 2013 Yukon XL and if I can find a pair of fixed running boards for a decent price, I’d swap out in a heart beat.

His may not be optioned for it, but it could still have the body harness connectors.

Ken, I believe the harness connector for these would be coming off the frame rail, up closer to the front of where the running board mounts. I couldn't find a pic of the area or plug, but it should be the 5-pin female side of what plugs to this:
