just like the title states, i want them more for the folding option not the directional arrows.

im assuming i would have to buy the driver door trim piece with controls..thats is assuming that no additional wiring needs to be done.

i would assume the tahoe is prewired for these mirrors, but i may be wrong.

Do a search for "Dl3 mirrors." There's a thread about what you do need to do/have done. You'll need the appropriate switches AND possibly a flash from the dealership. I haven't done the swap, but others have.

If your tahoe/yukon doesnt have power fold mirrors then you will need at least the drivers door switch and a flash. If you would rather pay for a used drivers door switch and used pass door switch out of a pwr fold truck then you wont need a flash. Get what im saying?

yes, im confused, i can work out on buying a used switch, but why would i need a pass. door switch.
i thought the mirror folding controls were only on the drivers door.

but with a used one, no flash is necessary. i got that part square.

thanks for the help guys!

I think the passenger side switch's integrated computer allows for the power-fold command to be sent to the mirror. If you don't have the power-fold compatible passenger side switch, then the computer built into it won't recognize the power-fold command.

the passenger side switch part number is the exact same in a pwr fold or non pwr fold vehicle. like zach sad the passenger switch needs to be "programmed" to receive the command to fold the pass mirror. UNLESS it is a used pass switch from a dl3 truck! so therefore if you have 2 used switches from a dl3 option truck then i dont think you need a reflash! i will let you guys know tomarrow how it works because im getting a used drivers door switch from a dl3 truck but with the stock pass side switch from my non dl3 truck!
