Anyone do this conversion ?
Anyone have experience with this ?
So i'm pretty confident that I will get a fan from a 2005 truck
(Unless someone here tells me different)
OK so Im doing all kinds of stuff to my truck so Im buying a tune from Nelson
they told me on the phone that there tune already includes the Electronic fan control
They also told me they sell a harness ($109) that will make my life easier
But im reading on their site
1999-2002 trucks/suv have the ability to control the fans by triggers from the PCM, which must be programmed, and a 12v A/C signal wire. The 2-pin PCM controlled fan harness is also available for these year models, however it requires repining the a/c re-circulation door voltage reference wire. This means you will not long have the a/c re-circulation function on your vehicle.
So My question is :
Are they saying that after I hook up their harness that I wont be able to use
the a/c re-circulation ??????????
Please help me not make a mistake
Regards Rick
