I am installing Eibach shocks on my 07' Yukon. I chose them ooverv 5100s simply because they are supposedly a little softer while still firmer than stock. Very similar design though , and utilize the same grooves for adjustable lower perch. Extended length is about 3/4" longer than stock. Should allow similar droop to stock even with 1.25" lift.
Rears installed quick and easy. Front , I'm running into issues getting the lower mount up onto the control arm. Because of the extra length ot just doesn't clear. Sway bar is disconnected but the upper control arm is bottoming out on a part of the frame that looks like it is designed to act as an extension stop.
Has Anyone else run into this issue with other installs? I can drop a control arm to make it fit. It just surprised me As I hadn't seen anyone else mention that.
Thanks
