Ecm need to be grounded?

i recently upgrade ld to a bigger battery and had to relocate the ecm. Im having issues with the truck now. Does the ecm need to be grounded?

I wouldn't think so but it couldn't hurt either. Put a ring terminal on one of the screws that holds the case together and ground it to the body. On some of the older trucks I'm pretty sure the ecm sits in a plastic tray on the fender.
