wish i had e85 here, id have swapped over a long time ago. its free hp really.

most times this comes up it seems you break even on cost to run it, with the loss of mpg and how much cheaper e85 costs. comes out about the same cost at the end of the month.

It isnt really widely available here either but (unfortunately) i drive enough that I pass 2 or 3 stations regularly with it. Have filled up past two tanks with e85. seems the "winter" e85 is about gone hopefully, showing 76% ethanol on current tank

That's .17 cents a mile as you paid $2.09 for the fuel you just used up. 12.1 mpg on the DIC right? Not bad and the motor loves it, like feeding a horse sugar cubes.

I don't have the DIC buttons yet but that's on my list of things to do

Ethanol still $1.99 and regular is $2.12. Filled up with 20.3 gal and got 232.8 miles on that tank. Wish I had a tuner so I could see how high the percentage is.

i just use a little bluetooth obd2 device($10-15) with torque app ($5), 20 dollar investment keeps a pretty good eye on common things

Trying out this corn fuel stuff. I've heard good and bad about it. I'll post my results here.
87 octane 16 mpg.
Filled up with E85 at $2.09gal with about an eighth of a tank of 87 left. It's about 2 miles out of my way going to work. Regular 87 was $2.49gal.

Randy, you can get E85-R in 5 gallon cans from Wine Country Motorsports in Jupiter or WMR Competition Performance in Stuart. The Sunoco on Kanner Highway, west of I-95 has Sunoco 260GT at the pump as does Moroso... uhh... PBIR.

is it like vp racing fuels C-85? like 8 bux a gallon  . i put like 10 gal of the 100 octane from sonoco in truck before didnt seem to do much - mixed with about 1/4 tank
my other little turbo car i used to fill up with 100 octane from the sonoco every once and while, it was direct injected- not enough injector to support e85
I've been fixing other things on mine lately havent messed with it much more.

Filled up today at $2.29/g
20.6 gallons took me 249 miles.

Changed a few things, gave it a mild tune, turned off the DOD.

I guess i commented in a different thread, but since having the flex fuel sensor installed most tanks have been in the E70-80% ethanol range. Working down in pompano, so ive filled up as far south as oakland/powerline and turnpike rest stop down south, yamato/us1, turnpike in wpb, racetrac in lake worth, all seem to be in that ethanol range. any other stations around let me know, I usually end up not being near an E85 station every few days and fill up with 93

I've been running E85 in my 2011 Yukon Denali for about a month now. The Mobil station near me has it for $2.19 gal, and the price hasn't changed. Currently, 87 is $2.59 and premium is $3.15. I'm getting between 12-13 mpg combined city/hwy, but mostly city. Highway trips around here are rather short, usually just a couple miles.
