DRL issue

Yeah go with leds and a resistor inline with the positive for prolonged life

I read on another forum that GM for some reason has around 14 volts running to the DRLs that is why they keep burning out also why the socket is burnt, if you put leds in they too will just burn out, because the voltage issue you need to run a 15 ohm resistor to make it the 12 volts necessaryto run your lights without burning out the bulb, the socket, or the housing.
