driver seat memory and lock button issue

I have the two setting seat memory on the driver side door, I haven't used it in a few years because it doesn't remember my seat position. It will make adjustments but no where near where I save it at.
I have tried replacing the switch with an identical one from the junkyard but didn't solve it. Seems to be a memory issue, old girl. Anyone have an idea as to what may be the issue?

Also randomly my lock button on the driver side door was functioning sporadically, then eventually stopped working all together. It is isolated to just the lock button on the driver door. Perhaps it could be the wiring harness?
I have taken the entire switch apart and cleaned it very good with a q-tip and electronic cleaner, to no avail.

My '04 has the same issue, but since I'm just about the only driver I leave the seat in one position.

If you have a Tech 2 available you can see if the Driver Seat Module has the latest calibration and OS (this is for your VIN):

If the link doesn't work you can enter in your VIN and check the released calibration history.
