Door pull breaking

My DR door pull is starting to act funky and some part of the system is going bad.
When looking for a cable i see like 3 different length ones. How do you know what one to get without taking the door apart?

If you can find a cooperative dealer, and give them your VIN, they can identify the specific part number, and then you can subsequently cross-reference, if you don't want to pay the dealer price.

I have looked at the door diagram and GM only sells the cable and door latch as 1 piece. They will not sell the cable separately that i can find.

Of 3 brands I see on rockauto (for '07 yukon xl), only one shows the length, but they look to be the same length.
But it could be your door latch acting up too..

Did not think to check Rock Auto. Looks like i need the 28in cable.
Various places list 16in, 28in and 31in cables.
It does not feel like a cable shredding. Probably gonna be the door lock actuator or the inside door handle.
If not snowing tomorrow ill figure it out.
