The original GM part number was 15718116 for the right hand side. It looks like it was replaced with 15620400, so maybe one of those will turn up something.

The Door Vent that is shown in most diagrams look like they are for 4 door models? This is more like a blanking plate. See pictures below off my 97 Yukon 2 Door.

The original GM part number was 15718116 for the right hand side. It looks like it was replaced with 15620400, so maybe one of those will turn up something.

Ah, good point. Mine has the same blank plate while my truck has the vent. Number for truck left vent is
15718115.

On my Tahoe (2-door) there is a door vent in the metal door panel that has a flap inside it. On my truck, that door panel vent was non-functional and covered by the waterproofing plastic. It has the door vent on the outside.

I guess there’s a reason for it somewhere, lol. Maybe cab volume if I had to guess.
