Ordered my spider injector and should be here this Friday. Got a new intake gasket as well. Is there any other gaskets I need to get as well or new replacement intake bolts? Was driving to and back from my moms and it felt like I had a miss going down the interstate. I know that I don't becuse I all ready replace the coil, distributer cap, wires and spark plugs. I been wanting to do this for a long time and if this doesn't fix it then time to get the up graded fuel pump. Man I love working on my hoe:pepper: also anyone have a link to the new fuel pump? Ill be doing it anyway but I would rather mess with that in the spring but just in case I would like to know witch one and how much a head of time.

you will want the felfpro intake bolts. already primed with perfect amount of sealant. and please tell me you got the newer design intake gasket from felpro?

for fuel pump i need to know 2 or 4 dr. and a redesigned new delphi will cost about $160 either way at amazon. it is the best choice to go quality wise. and still cheap too.

Delphi fe0114 would fit the 2dr. Keep in Mind tho it is the pump only the strainer sock or sender must be purchased separately if needed. Get a new strainer. Thought there was a complete unit like the four door. maybe did :gr_grin:not look hard enough. Amazon wants $65 for the pump.

Where did you guy get your fuel injection spider from,? I'm picking up a new motor tomorrow and would like to upgrade the injectors before I put the news motor in. Part number and cost would be a great help too.

Thanks,
Jason

since the bay list of part brand is listed as Aftermarket Replacement, do not buy it it is neither a delphi or delco unit. they are deliberately hiding that info from you.

When it comes time to change it out I am thinking of changing the hole unit and see if it fixes the bouncing fuel gage as well.

Well wasn't able to do the upgrade was to dam cold out. Looks like I'll be doing it this comming Tuesday. Temp will be in the mid 60's. I don't work on my truck anything below 60. I fracking hate the cold! I was trained for desert warfare lol. Parts I got as of now is: spider injectors, and felt pro gaskets. After this that's all till warmer weather witch sucks becuse i got a brand new code alarm and dieing to get it installed. I might just go a head and pay to get it installed. Will let y'all know how it goes. I might have to start a build thread and see about getting a sig done.

not bad at all. i did by my self and took me about 3 hours. it was fun. It really is night and day difference! I took a ton of pics and will be starting a album soon and will post them in there. I do have a childers book and was going by it on a few steps but its petty striate forward on the install.

Glad to hear the install went well. I have been following and will likely end up doing this as well. Just changed the fuel pump today to hopefully alleviate some of the symptoms.

Appreciate any tips and pics you can pass along...

I'm getting ready to do this swap and I have a question. The new upgraded unit (MPI) comes with those plastic pieces on the injectors. Do you remove them prior to install or do you leave them on? I've watched several "how to" videos and it was never discussed.
