Here is my Bullmastiff Bella
She was the runt of the litter, and when shw was young she got giardia and it took over 6 months to get rid of it. Poor Girl she will never be as big and thick as a normal Bullmastiff but we love her anyway.
Here is a pic when she was a puppy

she looks kinda like she has some boxer in her

Yeah we get that a lot, but she is pure breed. We got her from a good breader and i met her parents. Thats just what happens when you have a runt who was sick for most of the time she was growing. One of my friends has another female bullmastiff about the same age and they look identical, except for the fact that the other dog is 110 and bella is only about 85

Bullmastiffs and Boxers are closely related, they both were bread from the Bulldog and are part of the Mastiff Family

This is my mastiff, Kelso. He has displacia (sp?) in both rear legs. started limping at 8 months and was diagnosed then. Vet told me he wouldnt be able to walk by 18 months. He is 5 years now. I think he is doing pretty good. :) and he gets pissed when he doesnt get his walk around the block.

My now 2 year old Golden, Barnum.

The day I brought him home!

On one of our walks. The first time we went this way, he was quite intrigued by these cows, until one of them mooed, then he didnt want anything to do with them!

Of course he LOVES the water! Trying to find a stick probably...

The stare I get every morning while getting ready for work!

He is really a great dog. I had a golden before him who was female, and I will probably not get another male dog. Love him, but there was something about the female that he doesn't have. He is more FUN though!

A little update for Barnum... He got hit by a Land Rover last night behind my house. He know better than to get near that street, as that is the ONLY thing I have ever disciplined him like I did for crossing that street. There have been neighbors calling his name (not thinking apparently) and he will NOT cross the street. Well, his other dog friend chased a cat across the street, barnum followed and got hit. In a blessed twist of fate, the lady who hit him in the land rover is one of the vets at the vet that I take him to... She thought he was dead, but then after about a minute, he lifted his head, so we both got in my truck and drove to the office. Incredibly... no broken bones, nothing apparently bleeding internally or any noticeable damage to brain. Just some road rash in a few spots on his face, a scratched eyeball, a sore body, and some bruised lungs... he is really a lucky dog today, and I was able to bring him home a couple hours ago... Heres a pic...
