Do many people use the GM Remote App

I installed a smartstart module on my 2012, cost me about $100 for the year, way cheaper than onstar.

The remote start through the app is free for five years and you'd better believe I'm using that. Chilling those seats so that everything is nice and comfy for my boys upon entry is the truest sign that we are living in the future.

2015+ have free lock/unlock start/stop for 5 years.

I just got a 2018 and the app is fun. After the 1 month trial I will probably cancel OnStar but thinking of keeping GM Connect for the Remote start feature.
Apparently May 1, 2018 GM changed and now do NOT give you 5 years of GM Connect for free. :-( I was 10 days too late.

Figures, I bought mine on May 10th.
