I took about 8 pics but can't seem to make them work (new phone + new to Flickr). Anyways I did the antenna delete mod, sawed off the exhaust at the rear tire, and did the 4-hi mod using the diode.
Hiding the antenna under the hood was super easy and even though I live in the country, I notice no loss of radio signal. Took all of 5 min. & $0
I cut the exhaust pipe with an disk grinder angled at the ground which gives it a nice rumble but nothing i'd call loud. Took about 20 min. & $0.
The 4-hi mod was almost as easy as the antenna mod but made the biggest difference. I bought the 3 amp 50 volt diodes from radio shack. This mod lights up the world and is easier on my HIDs since they no longer go off and on everytime I switch to high. Took all of 10 min & $1.59.
More info on the last mod can be found in the tech folder.
