Decided on a different setup... share your thoughts

I don't want to throw out the coin right now for aftermarket stereo equipment or Bose harness. So, I was thinking about maybe just putting in one of the little compartments in place of the CD Changer and hook up an Ipod interface and then change out the radio to a Bose that has a single CD so that I still have that available for playing CD's. A friend of mine owns a salvage yard and has a Bose head unit with CD out of an S10 that he said would work so I may just do that and keep the factory look with and Ipod hookup where the old changer used to be. Whatcha think?

The current radio is starting to show some wear.

I saw a stock 6 disc CD player on here, you should be able to find a factory radio around.......

With CD? I assume they are a single CD. I just thought it would be a cost effective alternative.

yep, I think some had a 6 disc in the main HU as well.

yeah, most of the nbs ones are DD 6 disc changers.
