Hey guys,
I decided to detail my wife's 2000 mountaineer with my Maguire's Swirl-X. Her truck was in kinda bad shape so I laid it on thick and spent a long time buffing it out. I accidentally got some on her window and it occurred to me that it might help with the etching. I buffed it out a bit and cleaned it off and I was amazed at the difference it made. I went ahead and did all the windows and I can't believe how much better it looks.
When I was done, I asked my bother in law if he wanted to try some on the windows on his Cougar. When we were done with his windows I said you know what...I wonder if this does anything for hazed headlight lenses. 30 minutes later and I was again amazed at how well they looked.
So the moral of the story is...if you have etched windows or hazed headlights...get some Swirl-X and go to town.
